Experience the Annual July 4th Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade in Historic Downtown Cumming

Celebrate America’s birthday at the Thomas-Mashburn July 4th Steam Engine Parade & Celebration in Cumming, GA. This fun-filled July 4th tradition brings together the community to witness an impressive lineup of antique steam engines, vintage tractors, festive floats, and patriotic performers.

Held every Independence Day, the steam engine parade winds through historic downtown, offering an unforgettable way to honor our freedom with fun, food, and a celebration for people of all ages.

The event begins at 10:00 am but arrive early for a good spot to view the parade. Route is from Forsyth Central High School to the Cumming Fairgrounds, along Tribble Gap/Castleberry Road (note: steam engines enter the parade at the Bank of America across from City Hall). Remember to stay hydrated and bring ear protection, especially for little ones as the antique steam engines are EXTREMELY LOUD.

Note: The City of Cumming does not organize the Thomas-Mashburn Steam Engine Parade. For those wishing to enter the parade, please contact Cindy Hansard at 770-887-0516 or vcww4@aol.com.
