Description
Central Park and Recreation Center at 2300 Keith Bridge Road in Cumming, GA combines outdoor recreation with an indoor facility. The park has tennis courts, ballfields, turf fields, a playground, a paved walking trail, pavilions, a mountain bike trail and an 18-hole disc golf course. The recreation center offers two gyms, a cardio and weight room, a walking track, fitness and dance rooms and a banquet room.
Athletic fields: Central Park has five youth baseball and softball fields, four adult softball fields, two soccer fields, a turf football and lacrosse field and eight tennis courts, and it is one of the county’s tournament anchors. Many fields in the county system are lighted for evening and tournament play. Forsyth County sits along the GA-400 corridor about 40 to 45 miles north of downtown Atlanta, making Central Park a convenient choice for tournaments, leagues and camps.
