Windward Tavern

Windward Tavern is a neighborhood bar and restaurant on McGinnis Ferry Road in south Forsyth County, open since 2015. The made-to-order menu features slow-roasted prime rib, fresh Gulf seafood, the Tavern Burger, salads and house favorites, with a full spirits program, a curated wine list, Guinness and rotating local craft beers on draft, and signature cocktails. Weekend brunch is served Sundays from 11 AM to 3 PM. The tavern also hosts birthdays, team dinners, rehearsal dinners and holiday parties, and welcomes large groups.
